HEALTHS HARMONY

COMPANY INFO
Healths Harmony is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and operates as a large dietary supplement provider within the United States. The company runs a GMP-certified facility and offers a broad range of supplements and vitamins, with black seed oil included among its products. Healths Harmony products are proudly distributed through major retailers, including Walmart and Target.
●On March 20, 2025, we reached out via email requesting product details, including any available analyses or documentation. No response was received. All information regarding this brand’s black seed oil was gathered through independent research using publicly available online sources.
It is important to note that only three companies responded to our inquiry: Piping Rock, Bionatal, and Prime Natural.
PACKING AND SAFETY SEAL
The oil is packaged in a standard dark amber plastic bottle with a plastic dropper cap and a transparent shrink wrap. The bottle neck is sealed with a strongly adhered foil film.
● This sealing method appears to be secure enough to prevent leaks, even in high-temperature conditions, where black seed oil can expand by up to 20% during transportation.

SEEDS ORIGIN
There is no publicly available information regarding the origin of the seeds used in Healths Harmony black seed oil.
However, based on comparisons with other known black seed oil brands, we believe this oil is likely made from Turkish seeds, due to its similarities in color, aroma, and bitterness profile.
OIL DISCRIPTION
The oil has a dark yellow, cloudy appearance, a pleasant herbal aroma, and a bitterness level above medium.
In our opinion, it is identical in profile to oils from Heritage Store, Piping Rock, Zhou Nutrition, and Freshfield, as well as to several brands officially known to use Turkish black seed oil, including Sweet Sunnah Premium, Kiva, Prime Natural, Maju, Amazing Herbs Premium, Rawya, and Rawya Extra Strong.

Some testers from our team noted that this oil has a slightly stronger aroma or flavor than other brands with otherwise identical characteristics. Additionally, under specific lighting conditions, the oil appears a bit darker—a trait also observed in Freshfield, Rawya, and Rawya Extra Strong oils.
● These variations are common with Turkish black seed oil and can be attributed to differences in farm elevation and climatic conditions across the country—particularly between the cooler Black Sea coast in the north and the warmer Mediterranean coast in the south.
THYMOQUINONE (TQ)
There is no available information about the thymoquinone (TQ) level in Healths Harmony black seed oil — not on the official website, sales platforms, or social media.
However, if the oil is indeed of Turkish origin, as suggested by its sensory profile and its close similarity to Freshfield, Rawya, and Rawya Extra Strong, we can estimate its likely TQ content based on those comparable products:
-
Freshfield (as stated on its label): 1.64% TQ
-
Rawya Extra Strong (noted for slightly higher flavor): Minimum 2% TQ
*Please note that none of these companies have publicly shared certificates of analysis to verify these values.

Industry Clarifications:
(The following industry points are worth noting)
-
"Unrefined" ≠ Non-Filtered: Even unrefined oils are typically filtered and don’t contain seed particles.
-
"Cold Press" misuse on the label: The term is widely used without proof. True cold pressing should be validated by testing for compounds like Benzo(a)pyrene and related PAHs.
-
"Organic" ≠ Pesticide-Free: USDA standards still allow natural pesticides (§§ 205.601 - 205.602). No Nigella sativa seeds are entirely free from them.
-
"Non-GMO" claims are unnecessary: Nigella sativa is not genetically modified, and global demand doesn’t justify GMO cultivation.
FINAL RANKING #3-D
The #1 and #2 spots in our ranking are unquestionably held by the world’s most potent black seed oils—both derived from Ethiopian Nigella sativa seeds.
Just behind them, Freshfield, Healths Harmony, Rawya, and Rawya Extra Strong stand out among Turkish black seed oils for their slightly stronger bitterness compared to other Turkish brands. As a result, all four have earned the #3 position in our ranking — just below the superior Ethiopian oils.
After extensive and careful testing, our team determined that Rawya and Rawya Extra Strong — identical in formulation — are slightly advanced in flavor than Freshfield and Healths Harmony. Because of this, we awarded Rawya and Rawya Extra Strong the sub-positions “A” and “B,” respectively.
Freshfield and Healths Harmony showed no noticeable difference in taste or strength, even with deeper testing. However, Freshfield is packaged in a glass bottle, which better preserves oil quality over time, earning it sub-position “C.” Healths Harmony, sold in a plastic bottle that can potentially affect the oil during long-term storage, takes sub-position “D.”
